This video was shot in Quebec City live at the ShoeClack Club (renamed multiple times since) during the launch of the Blender Mix LP in 1983. The Productions Sans Nom (Luc Martineau and crew) instigated the Blender Mix project along with Youth Culture Promotion in Ottawa.

The cameraman for the Blender Mix launch brought only one video cassette to the event and so other footage is unlikely.

Due to the size of the files (between 30 and 100 megabytes each), we recommend you download each file to your computer before trying to view it. To do this on a Windows machine, right-click on the hyperlink with the mouse and select "Save Target As..." in the pop-up menu that will appear.

The video was encoded using the Microsoft .WMV file format, which can be viewed by the free Windows Media Player. You can download this player for any version of Windows, as well as MAC OS version 8.1 or higher and Sun Solaris operating systems by clicking here.

The video was digitized to the maximum screen size and resolution allowed by our hardware (640 by 480 pixels) and will require a faster computer to view without clipping.
